J. Chloe Braun has been writing articles and short stories for publication most of her life. She and her family spent 12 years ministering in
various places in India, mostly in small towns in the Nilgiri Hills area. The Brauns had many opportunities to work with underprivileged
women and children, sometimes sheltering them in their home. Mrs. Braun also taught English and Journalism at a school for deacons.
Currently she lives in the USA with her family.
From her journals and memories comes Hurdy Gurdy a fictional account of one brave woman's escape from spousal abuse. Ms. Braun and
Lynne Rebeiro have just co-authored a novel called Blind Spot. It is a fast moving crime mystery about some bumbling jewel thieves and takes
place in Darjeeling. All proceeds from the sale will go to benefit the Calcutta Tiljalla Relief.
